| - 5 - Like the AngelI spent the last weekend of my summer in E-ville a.k.a. Evansville with my beautiful girlfriend, oh and my mum n da of course... yeah so anyway it was the last weekend of summer and as I wave fair well, I thought I would recap, on the things I did that don't include: yard work, helping people move, lying around, playing video games, causing trouble or blowing things up. So June was cool I went to CIY and had a great time and reconnected and reopened my eyes. July was a great month for the fact that I got another mohawk for the Vans Warped Tour. Which by the by was incredible. My family and I didn't get to have our summer trip which I was kind of disappointed about, but with the travel agency and all I guess it all works in the end. August hasn't been much, a little pain maybe, the mohawk was cut from the team last week. But like I said I had a great time last weekend and I am ready to take on another year of high school. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not ready to go to school I'm just ready to beat down another year... | | |
| - 3 - The Kill Saturday morning I woke up to the smell of hot cakes and sausage. Now mind you this was at an ugly hour of the morning. Eating a good breakfast to prep for the cut. At 8:50 we left for headlines. blah blah blah yeah it woulda been boring if I woulda gave you the play by play. That was the original plan, but for those of you who don't like to read I decided to cut it down. So I now have my moehawk for this summer and it is massive as you can see in my dp... I am enjoying it thoroughly... | | |
| - 12- There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought Of It Yet Taking HIS time...
I was watching Bruce Almighty a little while ago and it came to the part where he gets all of GOD's powers and he's laying there and he starts hearing all the voices, yada yada yada... K so he's trying to find a way to organize the prayers and he comes up with "yahwee", and he sits down and starts the to dowload all the prayers. While he was sitting there typing yes at rapid speeds and then he stops and he says something to the effect of 'wow this is going to take up all my time.' That was when it hit me over the head like a sack of potatos(metaphorically speaking) and I thought, 'that's pretty funny if this was what GOD did all day other than watch over us of course but moving on. So I thought to myself, when people say 'its not like he listens' or when people complain about GOD not answering their prayers, its not because he's not there its just that HE's not got to your prayer yet. Its like the sayings "all things in HIS time" or "all things happen in good time" etc... Having said that I hope everyone takes into consideration the time it must take and that GOD is a very busy man... | | |
